York College of Pennsylvania closed a racially charged exhibit to the public.
The “REWIND” exhibit by Paul Rucker features multiple variations of Ku Klux Klan robes, lynching images and slavery artifacts.
In a statement posted to the college’s Facebook page Sept. 5, 2017, York College officials said the closure stemmed from the public possibly not putting the exhibit’s content in context.
